USMC Veteran Combat Artist Michael D. Fay on wearing a Kilt as Performance Art

On Memorial Day, May 25, 2015, Michael D. Fay, CW2, USMC, retired, wore a kilt to the opening reception for NVAM’s exhibition The Joe Bonham Project. In this recording, he explains why he wears a kilt to art shows, the history behind the garment and how he considers it to be performative.
